Anyone can become a member regardless of their diet or other consumption habits. Your support as a member of The Finnish Vegan Association helps us work towards a more vegan world. We organize events and campaigns, speak out on current issues, and answer inquiries from commercial entities and public authorities about vegans and plant-based eating.
As a full member of The Finnish Vegan Association, you are entitled to participate in the meetings of the association as well as to vote on the members of the executive committee at the yearly autumn meeting. You will also receive an email newsletter detailing the association’s latest news and activities. Your membership card grants you valuable discounts and benefits at businesses all around Finland.

You can become a full member of The Finnish Vegan Association by paying the yearly membership fee of 30 euros, or the reduced fee of 15 euros. Paying the reduced fee is up to your own decision, and we do not ask you to provide a reason. You can also become a lifetime member by paying a one-time sum (450 €), in which case you have the same rights as a regular member, but your membership will not need to be renewed. We also offer memberships with no voting rights in the association’s decision making. These are the supporting membership for individuals (50 € per year) and the supporting membership for businesses (100 € per year).
The Finnish Vegan Association’s memberships are based on the calendar year, except for the lifetime membership. You can resign from the association by sending an email to rekisterit@vegaaniliitto.fi.
